The Association of the Deaf celebrated the 2nd Edition of International Awareness with the theme: Sign Language; Right for All. Mrs. Rita Ossai gave the goodwill message, congratulating the cluster and commended their being well organized with their large number. She encouraged the participants to be grateful to God because they are images of God and differently able in their own way. She also appreciated their involvement in vocational skills and prayed they will be employers of labour.

Mrs. Moyero Olusegun gave the keynote address, she encouraged the other hearing counterpart to learn sign language to encourage effective communication with the hearing-impaired people as this makes them elated and feel included. The ability to communicate effectively with them shows they are being loved therefore sign language should be encouraged across board.

Conclusively, there was exhibition of different products made by the hearing-impaired participants.
